Design brief: Stimulate a sense of bonding between siblings and improve communication between sibling and parents by communicating data from the artificial womb to the sibling.
When a pre-term baby is placed in an artificial womb it consumes a lot of time from the parents and young siblings are not allowed to visit. Bondy is a soft toy that mimics all the vital functions that are being measured in the artificial womb and explains them in a playful way to the sibling. The product is focused on the timeline of four weeks, in which most of the preterm babies are placed within the artificial womb. In these weeks, the child and parent go through different phases in which they keep track of their learning progress and bonding.
